Getting Over A Break Up When He Dumped You

Getting over a break up is always difficult, especially if he was the one who called it off with you. First things first, I know how much it hurts, and I know that a simple blog post can’t take that hurt away. But I’m going to try and give you some words of comfort nonetheless.

Your Fears

After breaking up you usually have two main fears: the first being that getting over a break up could end up being impossible, and the second is that you will never find anyone who will love you again. I know because this is exactly how I felt during my big break up.

I know that this fear is real, but your life will recover. In fact, now that you’ve broke up, you have more time to work on YOU, more time to hand out with your friends who will support you and who you’ll eventually start to reconnect with.

Why You Are SO Important

When you have more time to work on yourself this can really help you to get over your break up. You’ll start to find parts of you that you might have forgotten about. And, if you do want to get back together anyway, working on you always has to come first if you want him to notice you again.

Sometimes the best thing is to start a new hobby. Whatever you’ve always wanted to do and never had time for, start doing it now! It’s the perfect way to do what you enjoy and to take your mind off the bad things in your life.

When you start to do more again, getting over a break up will become more and more of a real possibility. And, if you do want to get him back, don’t play any games! Just use a tried and tested method of working on YOU before you work on him.
